Would a 2008 Porsche Cayenne GTS be able to tow a 28' Airstream travel trailer? - porsche cayenne airstream

If not, the luxury SUV in the upmarket perhaps?

It depends on the weight of the trailer. They make different models that are almost 28 ".
- Classic Limited - € 9000
- Flying Cloud - 7,300-7,600 kg
- World - 7,300-7,600 kg

The 7716 Porsche Cayenne GTS ropes pounds and I could hardly move 2 of 3, but I would not recommend it for more than a short trip.

A Lincoln Navigator would be a much better trailer. For the 2007 model year was rated at speeds up to 9100 pounds.

You need to take into account the facts that the braking performance of your vehicle, the amount of torque it produces and, more importantly, the weight should be discarded. I always say that the trailer is 2 tons, what weighs the car itself, it should be going. Make sure the driver is increasing following distance. If you're going downhill to ensure that the brakes do not overheat (if you can not feel it immediately). As regards the power to pull it straight to that weight.

Edmunds.com says that evaluated the Porsche Cayenne to tow £ 7700, when equipped with the right hook and trailer brakes. There are about 28 meters of air flows within the limits of the total gross weight. Check website for heat dissipation accompanying technical specifications of its adherents.
